It scares the fucking shit out of me, too. I know I'm not American, but still, I can't not fear for the lives of people I care about, and those of the strangers who deserve to live free from violence and oppression just because they're human beings.
And beyond that, you just know that Canada is going to be the US's Poland. I know that sounds selfish, but I am basically freaking out in every direction now.
