.....Rich & I were married in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. This is my 2nd anniversary without him - the first one was so close to his death that it was just too traumatic to even deal with in a rational manner

i sure understand about anniversaries. it sounds to me, though, that you're doing a good thing by making new memories. it took me a while to begin to do that, but yes, it definitely helps ease the way toward the future.

I know I'm late on this but I just wanted to say I'm sorry that you had to celebrate this anniversary without Rich. That is so tough. I am glad, though, that you he was in your life and that he meant so much to you. I'm glad that you have good memories with him to reflect upon. And it's so good that you are making new memories, too.
