This episode was okay. It wasn't till Chase spoke and got the right answer in the fashion that House wanted it, did I realize I DO miss him D:

"Alone" is still in the lead for best S4 episode though.

I WAS SO GLAD THAT HOUSE WASN'T ~IMAGINING~ THE DUCKLINGS OUT OF GUILT. SO NOT HIM.

Foreman is just creepy and pops up in my dreams/daily life, so I'll say that wasn't a hallucination on House's part, either.

Agreed on all points. This is how I see it about Doris:

David and Katie gave her the chance to write the episode that established all the new characters for the season. Even if the writers collectively created the characters in a group, Doris -- not David, not Friend or Lerner (who suck balls anyway) -- was tasked with the actual script writing. That's huge. That's a good sign. No, we didn't get HoYay 24-7 or a Wilson episode, but we did get our girl taking a more activate and influential role on the writers' staff. I consider this a "sacrificial lamb". In the long run, it will be a good thing.
