[Kouki notice that there's...a lot more people than he remembers around Luceti, as he glance around the plaza from near the stores.]
...Is it me or is there a lot more people around?
(ooc: He won't recognise anyone or know anything from the
smtdressingroom ,
carriero or
errocity . Otherwise, HAVE AT HIM.)

I thought it's another experiment by the Malnosso...
I'm sorry to ask, but do I know you?
Reply
Malnosso...? Is that what they're calling themselves now?
Of course. I met you about a month ago, when we were thrown into the asylum together. I'm Hatsune Miku, don't you remember? You didn't have wings the last time I saw you, though... maybe it's something I was left out of, like how you didn't get the candles?

[She must've arrived here recently, but there's no wings. And what's this about an aslyum?]
...I don't remember being at an aslyum, Hatsune. Aren't you mistaking me for someone else?

Okay, this is how I know it is: About two months ago, a bunch of people from different worlds found themselves in this asylum. I was one of them, and so were you. Or at least, I think it was you. Different things happen to us all the time, like a game of tetris or a flood -- that's how I got these gills. [She gestures to them as she continues.] We don't know who's doing it to us, we've only had some little interaction with a computer system.
What about you?

But he was told he had been in Luceti before and Kouki doesn't remember it.]
I arrived in Luceti since near the end of August, by this place's calender. Which is...nearly four months ago. [Such a sobering thought.] I know that everyone was brought here and given wings, so the Malnosso can perform experiments on us.

You guys are lucky that way. The asylum doesn't even have a calendar. It's really almost boring most of the time, except when things happen. Nobody really knows what's going on. They might be experiments, reality TV... all we have to go on are theories.
Reply
Not knowing...you have it worse that way. Between the experiments, we just went on with life here, unless people got kidnapped or sent home.
[Beside the wings, Kouki seems to be doing much better here in Luceti.]

...I guess you're right. There's hardly anything to do but talk to each other, really - a gym and pool that's almost empty, a cafeteria, a library full of nonsense books, a garden... that's pretty much it. And no instruments.
[Hmmmm, he really does seem a little happier here. Not as much life or death going on, no being starved for weeks. Maybe - maybe they decided to move all of the inmates here. Maybe they decided torturing them wasn't fun anymore and found some other place to do it for them instead. The flicker of hope in her eyes is pitiful.]
I didn't get your name wrong, did I? You still go by Wakahisa Kouki?
Reply
We don't have a pool, but there's the library, stores, restaurant, a bar, school...though most of them are started by a resident.
[Beside homesickness, he doesn't have to worry about food or death situations. And he knows that time back in his world stopped, which is a big load off his shoulders.]
Nope, you didn't. That's still my name.

...we can't even go outside. There's only one building for us. Three floors. Hardly any material for anything.
[In Carriero they only can guess at whether or how much time has passed, how many concerts they had without her, how many bosses and friends and lovers were let down. Even that COMP doesn't provide the confirmation they crave.]
Oh, good. At least that's the same. Did that stuff about a lockdown still happen to you?
Reply
Whoa...stuck in one building. [One place, being bored except when something happened. It's like Luceti, but less stuff and more condensed.]
Yes, the lockdown happened. How did you know about it? [Was it on the news back home?]
Reply
...yeah. [Yeah, it kind of is. Most of them even have gills to prove they've been there, just like all of you have wings. What a coincidence.] Until the tetris game started, we were all busy being excited because they actually changed the menu in the cafeteria.
The other you told me about it, of course. It hadn't happened in my world, though.
Reply
Hm...I guess I...he thought you're from the same world and know about it at first.
Reply
Yeah. Or, well, I told him I was a robot so that made us even.

...You're a robot?
