Screen going black, resolution changing without me touching anything. I have no idea.

Try reinstalling the newest video drivers. Its curious how video drivers can get corrupted over a long time.

Yup, that's what I did. It's been a bit weird, and has blacked out, but the random resolution changes have stopped.
