Of all the weird shit that those bells seemed to be causing, it was the tiny smile curling Hakkai’s lips that was the weirdest. It was one of his real smiles too, a surprised little thing like a kid just realising that the world hasn’t forgotten their birthday.

Oh, this was adorable. I found: "tapping his chin gently with the white tip of a finger Gojyo liked to watch" peculiarly moving.

Er, one little typo: "peals," not "peels" for bells (curse you, Spellchecker!).
