SYDNEY (Reuters) - Forget cute, cuddly marsupials. A team of Australian palaeontologists say they have found the fossilized remains of a fanged killer kangaroo and what they describe as a "demon duck of doom".....

OK everyone. From now on my moniker is "demon duck of doom."

Were ducks disrespected in the past? Perhaps the whole demon and doom thing will add a certain mystique that increases their level of regard. Let me know how that comes along. ;)
The kangaroos sound formidable as well. It is heartening that beings have evolved toward more gentle forms when the fierce ones were no longer needed for survival. Let's hope those rascally humans can follow suit!

Disrespect? The most famous member of my species is called "Daffy!" I certainly agree about those rascally humans, though.

Thank you. Actually, that is only how I was pereceived. Previously, I named myself in a cute and cuddly way. BTW, I just wrote a very short story on my other LJ. If you are interested, I will give you the details.
