I haven't been able to remember anything about my personal life from the Garzonas case to when I woke up in the Manor a few months ago. Nobody would tell me why. And it's because they let Zachary Zatara erase my memory!

[In Zachary's defense, at least, he did not realize he would be able to mindwipe Jason (though Jason is unaware) -- Zachary's magic can't affect beings with souls for more than a second or two, but that was enough to mess up Jason's brain with raw magic.]

Nobody told me. They just kept me in the Manor and told me it was too dangerous to help them in the field...
