*Jason basically comes out of nowhere, and grabs Crane by the shoulders, slamming him back against the nearest convenient wall.*

Fuckin' Scarecrow. Behave yourself or I'll kill you, no matter what the rules of the Hub are.

Oh-h, interesting. He doesn't know... or claims not to know... Robin. *Jason smirks.*

*in a calm, pleasant tone* I'm afraid I don't know who you're talking about. Would you enlighten me? [He does his best to size up openings in the stranger's defense without being obvious about it. He won't make the first move, but from the way this encounter has been playing out, he will very likely need to fight.]

...

The multiverse is a strange place, Dr. Crane. I wouldn't be surprised if the codename was different in your world... except you recognized the name Scarecrow as yours...

*as calmly and convincingly as he can* I believe you're mistaken here. I certainly don't go by that name.

*Jason raises an eyebrow and smirks, and it's clear that he thinks you're lying to him.*

Then what name do you go by, when you're not Dr. Crane?

*lying* Why would I have another name?

I've got no patience for your fucking bullshit, Crane.

You just watch yourself. Don't hurt anyone. Don't kill anyone.

*And Jason will be turning to go now. Good time to hit him with that sedative, if you're so inclined...*

[He isn't, as it turns out. Jonathan still wants to know just what's going on here, but the stranger is hardly a reliable source of information, and if he's planning to leave peacefully, Jonathan is more than willing to allow him to, rather than attack him with no real potential for gain. And really, there is no gain to be had by knocking him out. If the man is telling the truth, he will only have antagonized a stranger who seems to know far more about this place than he does. If he is lying, or delusional, and this is some type of telepathic trick, it's wiser to play along until he can get a better sense of what's going on. And so he bites back the questions that spring to mind, cautiously watching the man leave before turning back to the Board, scrutinizing its contents more closely.

... Who is Oracle-Kara, and how is he supposed to contact her?

Maybe he can find someone else who'll be more informative.]
