Lois catches Starling breaking into the Daily Planet. She agrees not to call the cops in exchange for an interview.... the only thing she's not expecting is the questions Starling has for her.
There was little doubt in Lois Lane's mind, that there was trouble a foot within the confines of the Daily Planet. The Planet seemed to draw trouble to it like a giant flame for a giant moth. She kicked the thought of Superman dealing with such an entity from her mind and proceeded forward armed only with a mace
