old dcu memory bleed through

The characters from the DCnU don't know what they're missing, they just know that something is not right. Superman has memories of a life as a reporter, Batman remembers an alternate dimension child he never had, Oliver Queen remembers having affairs around the world but weren't there children too?
the characters can be whoever you choose, pairings as well! this anon just wants some DCU memory bleed-through and how the characters deal with it!
...bonus points for any mention of Connor Hawke, because I miss him :(
He keeps trying to tell himself that it’s nothing. But it’s not. Something is wrong.
The other day when Bart was running around and generally being irritating, he snapped at him, “Stop it, Imp!”
Bart took a second to tilt his head and ask why Tim had called him that before forgetting about it and speeding off again.
Tim could never think of an answer to his question.
Then another time, he glances at Cassie and notices how gorgeous she is even when she’s in the middle of the fight, and is immediately overwhelmed by crippling guilt, because how could he do that to Kon?He shouldn’t be feeling guilty for a simple observation

Oh God, so painful. Excuse me while I curl up in a ball of emotions! DX This was so perfect - there's such an ache there, so vivid, for everything lost, things that may never be found. Amazing fill!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! This is completely what I had in mind when I thought of this prompt! (also I'm a tim/kon shipper/OMG I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP it was just so wonderufl...)
and excuse me but it was sad but not overwhelmingly and it was wonderful, thank you!
This was just perfect. I love stories where pasts bleed through, and I love what you did with this one, all the fragments of past lives haunting him. (Also, Miguel making eggplant sandwiches--I approve). Beautiful and sad.

Thank you!
Ahh, Miguel. I thought, what's going to remind him of Steph? Eggplant. How do I incorporate eggplant into this story? Someone makes him an eggplant sandwich. Who would do that? Well, there was really only one answer.

omg Renee! Thank you so much for the fill!
I was really hoping for a few posts, different characters than you usually see so thank you so much!
It was great, I loved the sad emptiness you put into the new universe- cutting people off from friends and just their lives. (that's what it feels like the DCnU did...)

Okay, now I need ice cream. But this was lovely, in that painful, aching way, because a world where Renee and Helena never ass together is a sad world indeed.

Tim’s not quite right.
