Look at me, would you, please? anonymous August 10 2011, 01:37:41 UTC
As a photographer, I have this problem a lot and think that Tim would too.

Tim and Kon have been dating for, oh a few months, and Tim is still riding cloud nine. For once, everything is perfect and he's got exactly what he's been dreaming of. Kon, on the other hand, is starting to have second thoughts. Not because he doesn't adore Tim, but because Tim's got a bad case of the roaming eye.

Every time, every single time they go out without masks on, Kon notices Tim's eyeing everyone around them. He stares at asses, watches the curve of boobs, follows the movements of legs, and generally pays attention to everyone but Kon ( ... )

I'm a little bit in love with this prompt. Especially the subject line - I can practically hear Kon saying it, his voice rough and kind of desperate and intense, and Tim just doesn't get why Kon looks so pained, why his eyes look so sad...

Does that mean you're taking it? *wink wink nudge nudge* If not, I'll take it lol.

I maaaay take a stab at it in the future, when I'm not already working on, like, three other fills. XD

But you should totally go for it! Multiple fills are completely allowed, and one of the things I love most about memes is people's different interpretations of prompts. Plus, your costume!kink fill was awesome! :D

God, this is haunting. So desperate and yet full of love, and the descriptions you used, the language, it was so intensely beautiful. Tim translating what he sees through his artistic sensibilities, Kon's memories of breaking Tim's wrist, it was all just gorgeous!

Oh, oh, this is LOVELY. You can feel Kon's frustration and fear, and Tim's descriptions are just perfect.

I'm so thrilled that you answered my prompt, and it so darn good I wish there were more!

If you're having problems with LJ, I'd recommend Semagic.
http://semagic.sourceforge.net/index.html
It's a program that helps you format LJ posts, and you can preview and upload them when you're ready. It can be a little confusing but once you're used to it, it makes everything SO much easier. :)

oh this is so good.:0 I love how kon loves tim, but his insecurities are getting the better of him. I love how he keeps flashing to what he could do to harm(and then tim a little too at the end of his). How badly he wants tim to pay attention.
And Tim's just broke my heart. How angsty he is, how afraid he is of losing kon. how in love he is, how he lets his voice wash over him. But he is still noticing every beautiful thing around him.
Oh these boys. they break my heart in the best way.

I love your description of how Tim takes such comfort from Kon's voice. Such a beautiful vibrant fill. I got that ache in my chest that only comes from well-written angst.

So I know that it was already filled, but I'd already started writing mine when the fill was posted, and I truly loved the prompt so I decided to continue.

This is much too long to post here, so here's the link:

Tim may not take photographs anymore, but the art of looking at everything and everyone in search of a shot is ingrained into him. What he doesn't realize is how it looks to Kon, who sees Tim looking at everyone but him.
