I think that's a good idea. Name the time, I'm mostly just setting my own schedule, and the only pressing thing is languages with Lt. Uhura and stealing time with my kid(s).

*chuckles* I'm a linguist Dr. McCoy. Phonology, morphology syntax is my stock in trade. If she didn't have my working, I'd have to talk to Jim about his choice in communications officers. Besides, everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

I hadn't actually known that... my grasp of languages is so poor, some folks claim I can't even speak English proper. But I survive.

He told me he needed some time alone and I know better than to disturb him. He needs time to heal and physically he'll be fine. I don't know what to do about the rest. I'm fine, don't worry about me.

You know Spock, he's determined to resume his duties. I left him in medical and told him to stay there for you to decide that but he's stubborn. I'll go by his quarters once my shift ends - unless you find him first and please tell him to rest. If you need anything let me know how I can help.

Honestly, not real sure how I'm handling all of this. I'm worried about Mr. Spock and our Spock, who I haven't even seen all day. Haven't stopped since I woke up... don't even think I've eaten. Yea, yea, sorry, I'll get something the moment I can.

I haven't seen him either, but Uhura said he shooed her away earlier while he was still in medbay. Wanna bet he's looking at transporter issues or trying to figure out what's going on?

Lemme know if you find him. Or better, tell him that I want to see him tomorrow for an exam.
