There were occasions when Winona had problems being on time. Her appointment with Bones had joined those occasions. She hadn't meant to be late, indeed, she had merely gotten sidetracked by other activities. When she finally looked at the chronometer she had made a face before dashing off to Sickbay.

Outside she took a deep breath before she entered, a small smile on her face. "Oh, Doctor McCoy."

"Hello, ma'am," Bones said, turning to her. "Glad to see you again."

He began walking toward his office. "How have you been doing since we talked the other day?"

She followed rubbing at her neck slightly. "I've been doing strangely. I'm not really sure how I feel about everything regarding my life."

Bones pointed toward a seat. "I spoke with George after we ended our conversation the other morning. But I haven't talked to him since. Is he back in your room?" he wondered.
