Mr Spock - Presented with beginning symptoms of pon farr. I believe the patient is trying to distance himself from others to avoid feeling the lust. "Burning madness of lust" is the term he used. May angels preserve us.

Previous strategy for fulfilling pon farr was simulated death of his captain - Kirk, James of Enterprise, not of this universe. Patient stated this would not be effective again. Am going to try and communicate with his personal physician for assistance.

Patient stated 50% increase in dosage appropriate for effective sedation. Christ, that's a lot of meds...

Commander Spock - Patient has recovered from the worst of the physical injuries. Unsure about the not-physical ones. Never tried psychology on a Vulcan, not even sure where I would begin.

Patient will need full work-up tomorrow. Need to send message to him to report to Sickbay as I believe he's escaped..

intraship communications

private to Jim Kirk (this timeline)

How you doing today? About as good as me?

private to Commander Spock (this timeline)

Location, Commander?

private to George Kirk

Thought it would be nice to be properly introduced. Can we meet for lunch tomorrow?

private to Admiral Pike

A little birdie told me you were winging your way here. Glad to hear it, sir. I've got a bottle of brandy with your name on it for when you get here.

private to Lt Uhura

How's he doing? More importantly, how are you doing?

private to Doctor Leonard McCoy (not me)

Mr Spock (from your ship) gave me permission to discuss a medical condition with you. Could we meet sometime to talk about treatment options?

personal log - secure and encrypted

Woke up in Jim's bed room - haven't done that since we got here. Not saying anymore about that...

We've got an evil Pike now, to round out the menage of duplicates. Times like this I wish I'd spent more time studying quantum mechanics or other shit like that... might be more useful right now than what I know.

I shot him... and it was so easy. Someone said there was danger on board - I just grabbed the phaser from its little hiding place, tucked it into my waistband like a hypo and took off. Still not sure what I was thinking.

But it wasn't hard - fucker had Spock on the ground, was looking at Jim and Nyota.

And it was just like hunting with Grandpa when I was little - pull it out, lift, take a breath and shoot. Didn't like shooting a man in the back. Grandpa wouldn't have approved of that, don't think... Not sure I could have done it if I had seen his face.
