With as much fun as talking to George had been, McCoy knew that he had to continue counseling sessions with Winona as well, if only just to see what her view of the situation and how coming back on board was going.
Kirk's family... Bones wanted them to be healed and happy more than maybe any of them did, and it worried him that they didn't seem any closer to resolving their problems. So much they didn't know about each other, so much hiding and pretending and hurt and pain and he felt himself getting caught more and more in the middle with each conversation.
She'd agreed readily enough, though, to resuming their talks, which was a good thing and Bones waited for her to arrive, reorganizing the new supplies that had arrived since they'd returned.
