Everyone makes mistakes in life - sometimes big ones. It happens. But you have the right mindset. The best thing you can do is learn from them and not repeat them.

I pretty much screwed around to get my BA...I got out of college in 4 years with the degree, but it wasn't without a couple of D's, and an F. Hell, I even missed an entire final one time, because I hadn't gone to any of the classes all quarter, so I didn't know they moved the final up from the actual date to the last day of class. I bullshited with the best of 'em, trust me...lied and cried about late papers and projects

*is strangly reminded of last year in her freshman year* well...at least you did try to get things done, unlike me. *hug* Honestly, I guess I can say from some experience that yeah, you did screw up on this one, but while yes it does deserve some self beating, try not to beat yourself up over this too much. Do what you can do as far as making up the class will go, if you can (not sure how it runs in college) and move on. We all make mistakes and screw up but we learn from them as well. Hopefully you won't make the same mistake again and if your smart like I think you are, you won't. :) That and if you do it again I'll personally come up to Nothridge, hunt you down and hurt you ;) :P
