The only reason I don't think Bennett would have switched sides (at least not right away) is that the show was a Saturday morning cartoon and I doubt the suits at Kids WB would have gone for such a heady concept as a reformed bad guy. Bennett was billed as THE villain of the series by all of the press releases and I have a hard time WB would want him to relinquish that position for a terrorist organization (especially since the third season would have aired only a year after 9/11 ( ... )

Good point about Bennett's role. Maybe on the DTV movie. ;)

Agreed on Bucky and Ro.

That was a really cool shout out, I agree, since SS wasn't even out yet. Even McDuffie once commented how cool that was.

Agent West and Flash's relation could be possible. I don't see any issue with that. It helps they have the same voice actor, too.

So it was intentional? Wow, that's pretty awesome. I had thought it was just a happy coincidence. When did Dwayne comment on it and what exactly did he say?

Plus red hair and the same last name.

Goodman, I think, admitted it in an interview. I can't remember where.

McDuffie commented on it in his Ask the Maestro thread but there's 80+ pages now...all I recall is how he thought it was cool when he went back and watched a few episodes of Beyond during his tenure on JL/U and heard the Dakota reference.
