You are right that Jethro is a bit cheesy, but I like him this way. And I believe he could be that way when he is in love. I mean ... I gave her that coat, right? Why not a dance and a nice dinner. And on the show he remembered her favorite meal. After all these years. Why shouldn't he remember that song - their song?
