A green bell jar comes down over his body. "Easy there, son."

There's suddenly no sound, but one voice. No distractions, no external input.

It really is what he needed, and the effect is almost immediate. He takes a deep breath, pulling himself up and trying to refocus his mind.

"What's going on?"

"You're trying to save the world by yourself. Other then that, I'm not wholly sure. My station is out. Whatever is happening seems to have a city-wide effect." He remembers stories about Travis. Word is he pushes himself harder then he should because youth generally doesn't think in terms of bodily limits. He's therefore going to keep up the bell jar for a little bit more.

The lack of outside input has a startling effect. There's no fear to him, nothing for the gas to latch on to except the very edges of the fight or flight reaction, which, for Travis, is always fight.

"There is definitely something going on here... and I suspect I know who is behind it. Hal Jordan is somewhere in the city, have you had any contact from him?"
