Guy stepped into the living room, a bag of groceries in his arms. Guy wasn't much of a cook, but when it came to "man" things, stews, sauces, steaks, he had it down cold. In the bag was a six-pack of good beer (Iron City), and two thick cut steaks, with all the trimmings. The stun lasers tracked Guy from his arrival, which opened the window for Roxy to take all of them down. He raised an eyebrow, the ring protecting him immediately, without being bidden. The green glow from Guy's protective aura lit the room.
"You need a backyard. Or a Batcave. This could get somebody fried, babe," Guy said dryly, glancing around.
"Oh that's what the reinforced walls are for," she notes casually. Then she shakes herself out of "Batwoman" mode and promptly trips over the furnature right into Guy's arms.
"Um, you're right, I guess," she replies while righting herself. "Oooo, is that steak?"
Guy shifted the bag into his other arm as she tripped, the ring catching it with a little green claw-hand. He caught Roxy smoothly, and assisted her back to surer footing with a grin.
"Right the first time," he said, beaming, proud of himself. "Two steaks, some mushrooms, and a big bag of potatos. Y'know, for proper steak fries. I thought I'd cook for us."
She kisses him before liberating him of the steak. "Been working on the suit." Roxanne's experimental suit is made of her programmable metal alloy which can change shape and even some tactile properties depending on what she punches into the gray blob. "I might have made it space worthy, but I'll have to test it out."
