A line can be seen coming out of the toy store. "The lines go around the block." Inside, the crowd is barely restraining themselves from mob rule, as people grab from the shelves. She has five of the seven available this week, but as she and her daughter play with thier set she has to admit to herself. Even my nose is twitching on these.

She gets a call on her cel-phone.

"Honey, don't tell Allanah, I think I managed to find a place in Denver with the two you missed in stock. I'll probably be in line a few hours though, so I'll be late for dinner. Something weird here though... my nose is a dismount short of a gymnastics routine."

Hal picks up a couple. Henry's getting the one that's a green alien that stuffs into a cube-shaped spaceship.

But the other one... a swan stuffed into a white cube with red hearts... ends up anonymously on Carol's desk.

She'd seen the ads and they were cute. If she'd had the time she might've been in line herself to pick up one. Instead, Anonymous (and she could make an educated guess!) left one for her. It gave her day the smile she needed to finish the paperwork before the next day's problems began.

In the spirit of anonymity, she didn't say a word about the toy. She moved it to the corner of her desk next to the in/out basket, right where she could see it each time she looked up.

Megan practically squeals, pressed to the TV. They - are - SO - CUTE!!

She has to have an Octobot! And one of the Squirrels that comes in an acorn box! And the puppy in the little kennel cube! And the cute little cow inside the hay bale!!!

She glances between her math textbook and the TV, biting her lip. If she gets at least a seventy on the test tomorrow she'll have enough money to get four or five.

OH! OH THEY HAVE A PENGUIN INSIDE AN ICE CUBE!

Megan grabs her workbook and starts eagerly in on her review.

Amelia has a group of well-paid people retrieving dolls for her. The newest finds-- the alien, the seahorse in the clamshell box, and the squirrel, go up on the top shelf as her favorites so far.

Later in the day, a delivery arrives of a panda in a bamboo box, with a card. Squeeing with delight, she sets him up on top and reads the card, then dials a number. "Samantha, you are darling, you know that? Oh yes, they're so positively morbid aren't they, but I can't resist, I simply must have-- Really? I believe I have two. You are absolutely welcome to the second! Every girl must have toys, da?"

After breaking up a near cat-fight between two moms fighting for the same toy, Roy is miserably in line with a small armful of Incarcipals.
