"All set here." Owen takes his place on the line, taking a few heavy steps back from it to feel out his position, then puts the blindfold back on, holding out the darts for Amelia. "I can give you some pointers after this if you want."

They zip through the air, each landing neatly in the bulls-eye.

"At least I know where my drift is," she says drolly, but with a smile. "I believe we each have two more shots. Perhaps I can salvage my record."

"So, who's up for a game?" she asked, seizing a pool cue. "I'd go with the round of drinks stakes, but I'm not going to be drinking enough to use it...this time. Whoever loses a game of pool against me gets to be responsible for being the designated transport next social event so I can have more than a couple of drinks."

He slips the blindfold back into place, chucking the last two darts at the same time. They both sink into the bullseye, now getting crowded. He grins without even removing the blinfold.
"I heard steel on felt. I'm guessing you owe me dinner and a movie?"

Amelia measures her next shot carefully, and just barely misses the bullseye. It's probably in her confidence that the last one strikes to the right again.

Jason seems distracted with his game of pool with Zephyra. It gives Amelia an excuse to slip over to a table with Owen without a biting comment, even if the ascot is still pretty lame.
