Things have been strange for Gear since he battled Trigon at Clearwater. He remembers the explosion... and the world he left.

Sometimes, anyway.

Maybe it was all just a dream, anyway.

He gets slips Backpack over his shoulder and heads out the door to go to Sidekick Elementary.

Fauna had a bad dream last night. Something bad attacked her home. But she's awake now, and the granola breakfast (with soy milk) made her forget all about it.

Later this afternoon, she's going to go home and make cookies in her EZ Bake or weed her vegetable patch.

But first...school!

Robin is sitting outside sidekick elementary hunched over a notebook full of sleeves.

Today is show and tell and he is excited because he has brought his coin collection.

He had asked Batman if he could bring the giant penny, but that had been a long shot.

His friends Speedy and Kid Flash are there.

"This one is almost a hundred years old!" he says, pointing to a copper coin.

"Neat!

I brought a boxing glove arrow!

What did you bring?"

"Oh no! I forgot it at home! be right back"

The others don't notice him move and Kid Flash is back, holding a turtle
