Eddie had just been finishing his homework when Jason showed up at his door inviting him out to have some fun. "Yeah it sure was," he is trying to get the water out of his cape. Then he gives Eddie a careful look then sighs.

"Come on. We got to get out of this and dry off. I don't want you getting sick. And our uniforms need to be dried out properly."

"Sorry again," Eddie chimes, feeling bad about getting them both soaked. When Jason mentioned getting out of the uniforms, he blushes.

"Dude it's okay," Jason says as he pulls the cape up and finds some place to hang it up.

"I'm glad I was able to get us into the river, Much safer than that dumpster." He looks over his shoulder "You heard me. Get out of the uniform. The water was freezing. I don't want you getting sick."

"Dumpsters aren't that bad. You just have to know which ones to go to," Eddie murmurs. He knows which dumpsters in Gotham tend to be safe. Comes with being a former street urchin.

Pulling his mask back, Eddie blushes. He's not sure what to say in reply because he's got the idea that arguing with Jason would be like arguing with Bruce. Pointless. Shifting awkwardly, he starts to peel his uniform off. He's got a lot of scars under that shirt. Way more than he should for someone that hasn't been a hero that long.
