Kara Zor-L trudged into the kitchen of the JSA Brownstone, still struggling with herself to wake up. She was up an hour earlier than usual, but she couldn't sleep, and lately, she hadn't wanted to be alone in her apartment, so instead, she'd decided to crash at the Brownstone

Jay steps into the kitchen and stops when he sees Kara.

"Kara?" He smiles at her and moves towards her to embrace her. "How have you been?"

Kara looks up, mouth filled with pie.

She grins at Jay and a little piece of crust tumbles out.

Why yes, she does look something akin to a child for a moment.

She swallows and gets up from the stool. She hugs Jay, careful not to crush him.

"I'm good! Great! Just, you know, hungry."

[60minuteman]

"Save some for us normal yet hungry humans."

Rick walks in...in gear. Apparently he's coming in, not heading out. "Any milk left?"

Kara points to the fridge. "Plenty in there that I saw. Where were you last night, Rick?" Another huge glob of pie goes into her mouth.
