Conner sat in the kitchen, eating some pizza. Titan's tower had never felt so lonely. It'd always felt like, well, a home to Conner. It felt like home as much as, or maybe more than the Kent farm. Now it just felt empty. He missed his friends. He missed his family. Because that's what the Titans were, they were a family. Now, it felt like that was ( Read more... )

Slade walks through the door, stepping over Superboy, followed by his new associates. The League of Assassin's had splintered, and he'd found himself in charge of a rather large faction. "Secure the tower. I want anyone here fo-" An alarm interrupted Deathstroke mid-sentence, and he whirled around. "Cut the power!" He barked, zeroing in on the cause.

Conner had crawled over to the alarm, and hit the button. As Slade turned to face him, he gave a raspy laugh, and flipped Slade off.

"Grrah!" Slade snarled angrily, pulling out his energy lance and firing a blast at Conner, hitting him in the chest.

The blast was more than enough to take down the weakened Kon. He groaned as he slumped over, smoke rising from his chest where the blast hit.

Don was in his room as the door was kicked open. As two masked assassins spin into the room, unleashing gunfire, he's already cried out, "Dove!" and transformed.

They open fire with submachine guns, unleashing a hail of deadly steel. But as they turn the guns towards him, he's already out of the way, dodging and leaping out of their line of fire, and moving towards them.

Dodging their fire, he gets close, knocking the guns from their hands. "Who are you?" he demands, getting closer. "What do you want?"

Unanswering, they draw blades, ready to slash the peaceful hero into ribbons... if they can touch him.

The assassin's shift positions and attack from opposite sides. The first attacks high, aiming a lethal slash for Don's throat. The second goes low, attempting hamstring him.

Dove leaps outward, kicking out with his legs and punching out with his fists to connect with both assassins, avoiding both higher and lower strike simultaneously, leaping in a way that seems to almost defy physics.

The assassins go flying back from the kicks, slamming into the opposite walls. They'll recover in a moment though.

Jason had been learning as much as he could about the past seven years. He did though know when trouble was going down.

This new technology had his attention. He couldn't help himself. He had to go help them. He used a teleporter (somehow there was some fancy footwork there) just so he could get there.

And to keep Bruce from getting too angry at him Jason had left a note.

"HEY! Get the hell out of here," Jason barked while dropping low and doing a leg sweep. Hopefully the Third Robin wouldn't feel like his style was getting cramped if he was a Titan too.

Grant looks down the hall at the ruckus and runs down the hall to the commotion. He had been in San Francisco for a while, and when the Clearwater stuff had gone down, he made sure to be at the tower the next day.

And now?

"Freaking ninjas." Hands glowing, Grant Emerson was ready to cause some damage.

At least a dozen assassins run towards Grant, firing sub-machine guns at him. They weren't going toe-to-toe unless they had too

"Hey. Pirate."

The shockwave of a sonic boom goes off right behind Slade as Kid Flash comes to an abrupt halt.

"We've got unfinished business."

"Heh. We sure do." Slade laughed, it sounded closer to a growling animal. He slowly drew his sword, turning to face Bart. Under the mask his expression was a mask of rage and murderous glee. He wasn't just ready to kill, he was damn near ecstatic about it. "But there's one big difference about then, and now."

A 'rang comes at Deathstroke from his blind side while he is focusing on Kid Flash. The difference may very well be, "They aren't children anymore."
