Gotham is a nasty looking city, that's certain. Most of his life, Tommy Bronson spent his time in New York, only hearing the worst things happening in that city. He never had to be there and he never needed to be there

Batman hates favors. He hates owing anyone anything, although despite his hatred for owing someone, be never forgets. When Ted called him in, Batman had agreed without a second though or question. After all, he owed the man, and it was the least he could do for Tommy.
It didn't mean he had to like it however.
It was a good thing that Tommy was on time. Batman watched from the roof line of a nearby building, lurking there in the shadows like some sort of living shadow. "You shouldn't' smoke." he says, his voice gravel covered in velvet and half growled, "It's bad for your health."
"JESUS!' Tommy yelps as he unconsciously turns into his cat form. As his senses increase, he starts making out an outline, and then an outline on the mans chest.
It's the symbol of Batman. The goddamn Batman!
"You were one a Pops students?" Tommy blurts out stupidly.
