Hal snarls as he focuses his will into a cage around the Shark's mouth, as it attempts to lunge for one of the sailors aboard the aircraft carrier currently in dock at Coast City.
"Get out of here!" he orders the sailors. He's not sure how long he can hold him.
The Shark hammers Hal's construct from two directions -- projecting fear into Hal's mind while trying to break the cage with his jaw-strength... and seconds later, the cage shatters, though Hal has bought the sailors critical seconds to get away.
"Dammit," Hal swears, focusing his will to move past the fear the Shark is projecting. He slams into the beast, keeping its attention on him, and not on the fleeing military men. "I don't know what you're doing back in Coast City, and frankly, I don't much care."
The swipe from the beast's clawed fingers tears through Hal's shields, leaving him bleeding in several deep gashes, knocking him to the ground. It begins to stalk towards him, opening its jaws to swallow the Lantern...
