Coming back to life was the easy part. The hardest part wasn't helping getting Poseidonis and Tritonis rebuilt, or getting things calmed down, or doing the other million and one things that needed to be done. No. The hardest thing by far was visiting Lorena to let her know he was still alive

"I got it!" Lorena called, running to the door.

She'd settled in nicely at Titans South HQ. It had helped that everyone had been nice and willing to help her settle it. It almost made the pain of losing the only family that she had it Arthur go away. Almost.

Lorena opened the door. "Titans South-"

She stopped and stared, her jaw dropping. She was seeing a ghost. Clearly, that pizza that Paco had ordered last night was upsetting her stomach, and giving her halucinations. Arthur was dead.

Arthur struggled to keep a straight face. He wanted to smile, even laugh, at her expression.

His arms were crossed over his chest and he arched a brow. "Lorena."

Okay. Definitely Arthur. The arched brow said it all.

"Arthur!" She flung her arms around him. "You're alive!"

Then she promptly slapped him across the face.

"I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!"

He hugged her when her arms went around him and he smiled. Then came the slap to the face. Now that was what he had been expecting.

He couldn't do anything except laugh. "It's good to see you too, Lorena."
