The woman among the group steps forward, a folded piece of paper in her hand.

"Tula of Poseidonis?" she asks.

The two men at her side say nothing.

"Speaking," Tula says, frowning a little as she looks back and forth between the woman and the two men.

She hands over the piece of paper. "This is a court order requiring you to produce Cerdian of Atlantis immediately."

A chill runs down Tula's spine, making her stand up straighter as more of her brain engages with the moment.

"What for?" she asks, taking the court order and scanning it. Her eyes widen and she has to brace herself against the door frame, which cracks in her grip.

She takes a couple deep breaths. Then she takes a couple more, before she folds the order closed again and looks at the three lawyers with a look of restrained fury.

"Are the three of you aware," she asks, enunciating each syllable as clearly as she can, "that this woman is the reason that Cerdian's father is dead?"

How dare she. How dare Dolphin even think to try this?!
