Quieter than a ninja in that kevlar coated suit and cape, Batman landed on the edge of the roof and pulled himself up to his full height. He wasn't even five feet behind the girl, and he made not a sound. His express could have been carved from rock.
He just waited for Misfit to turn around and see him. It wasn't like she could miss the hulking 215lb 6'3" frame that no doubt dominated her night vision goggle-view.

Well, when you think someone's watching you, nine times out of ten it means that someone most definitely is watching you. Misfit stopped humming. Her night-vision goggles crashed to the ground.
Kathy had come into contact dozens of times. For all the times that she'd been spending with Kathy out on patrol, she had never actually met the Batman.
Misfit didn't know whether she should bow or just start sputtering that she wasn't worthy to be in his presence. So, she went for the second-best option.
Misfit just stared at Batman, wide-eyed.

"You were sloppy with the mini-mart. You also make too much noise." he then stated. What was this? Train with Batman hour? At least he wasn't admonishing her.
