Just saw the Timeless episode on Jesse James, and OMG you guys, I have seriously not screamed aloud at my TV this much since "The Pandorica Opens."

I will confess I nearly burst into tears when I saw Bass was black. And Rufus urging him at the end to tell his story so some 'white dick in a mask' didn't get to play his role gave me a huge lump in my throat.

And Paterson Joseph is AMAZING! And it's great how many PoC there are on screen...

YES! And Bass is all, "that's not why I do this," and we're all BUT YOUR STORY NEEDS TO BE TOLD.

I need an honest-to-god big-budget movie about Bass Reeves now. Wouldn't mind Paterson Joseph playing Reeves, as long as he can do an American accent. ;)
