Television round-up

Just some random thoughts about some of the TV shows I've been watching lately (pretty non-spoilery).

Broadchurch episode 4 was better again. I wish we were getting more of Rory and less of Gwen, but I'm still enjoying it. (Yes, I know those aren't their names in this show, but that's how I think of them, okay?) I am particularly enjoying the

Aha, yes, Adam Adamant is very uneven about what Georgie gets to do or doesn't do, quite often, and even if she's sometimes just a nuisance, but I find the whole thing so adorable I don't mind as much as I should. Mostly. And sometimes Georgie does get to do much more, including helping out in some of the fights. :-)

Besides, Jo Grant did have some actual secret agent training, and could do escapology and things! I don't think Georgie has.

I just saw the second episode. The sinister music to let you know that someone is doing something sinister! The evil-doers who keep talking about their plans within hearing range of the other guy! It's marvelous.

I still want Jo, though. I don't know why Georgie reminds me so much of her. I think maybe her accent just really sounds like Katy Manning's?

I can kind of see it, I suppose, but she reminds me more of Polly than Jo, to be honest.

Another great thing about Mark Hamill's episode of The Flash? They found a way to have John Wesley Shipp in the episode, too, so it'll be a mini reunion. I got around to watching "The Trial of the Trickster" and man, the two of them got some fun scenes together after the Flash gets brainwashed. So I'm super excited for Tuesday.
