It was really well put together, everything matched the song, with some clever bits here and there, and overall a lovely, feel-good tribute.

As for the Five/Tegan fanvid, I thought you were going to make that? Although I do have a long list of icons I need someone to make for me, so perhaps we could come to an arrangement. ; )
Heh, yes, well, in theory now I can fanvid, that would be more sensible, wouldn't it? I am still hopefully awaiting resolution of technical issues, so if you ever get a big package of Five DVDs you'll know that didn't work out.
Anyway, your fanvid is lovely, and what icons is it you are in need of? I have things to icon at the moment, but sometimes as things are I get v bored and icons somebody might want wouldn't be a bad thing to try. Depending on what they are, because I don't have all the DVDs and screencaps in the world, for some reason. (I am working on it, though... *worried*)
In that case, I hope I never receive a big package of Five DVDs. (Even though I would actually quite like to receive a big package of Five DVDs!) But honestly, no one can make the fanvid you have in your head as well as you can. So hopefully those technical issues will get resolved soon. Besides, I want to see what you would do with a Five/Tegan fanvid. My guess is it would be magnificent. :D

In fact, I would be ecstatic to have an actual fic_rush icon -- you know, something like the icons people make for yuletide, but for fic_rush. It would definitely have to have a penguin on it, but I have no other ideas at the moment.

Oh, thank you! I'm really glad you like the ending, because it drove me crazy. I must've tried five or six different things before I found something that actually worked. But I too am finally happy with it now. : )
I love it! I think your worry about using over-used clips is unfounded. Most of these seemed to be scenes I don't normally see in vids. They all worked really well, and quite a few made me laugh because they were amusing scenes that I haven't seen in a long time. The ending clip/last frame is absolutely perfect!
I'm relieved that you found the clips to be mostly fresh, as I know you too are a big SJS fan. By my count, I re-used 6 clips from my previous fanvid, though. But at least all the Death of the Doctor and Android Invasion clips were new. :D I'm really glad you liked it!
I'm glad you liked it! I happen to think that both "Wedding of SJS" and "Death of the Doctor" are excellent episodes, so yes, I urge you to re-watch them, even though they might make you cry.
