“Jaejoong,” Yunho frowns in the bedroom. “I can’t do this anymore.” He bends his back, figure weighed and drowned by promises to his father and mother, by that old dream of home and wife and family. Harsh shadows fall, obscure his face.
Yunho’s words cut sharper than ice, and the photograph of the two of you (happy, once upon a time) is cold. His smile was a miracle that radiated warmth, a light that filled every part of your body with euphoria.
No matter how hard you try, you can’t make the pain squeezed between your shaking hands go away.
