Junsu watched in horror as his two hyungs argued in the living room, the baritenor frozen in place in a corner of the room. The innocent man had been sitting there, humming to himself when the two came in, snapping at each other. Carefully, he started to leave, but he was soon trapped, his only means of escape being the corner, where he was out of sight. His protests toward the fight had been ignored or not heard as the fighting grew worse. He suddenly felt panic rise in him as he watched things being hurled around the room, his body refusing to let him retreat just yet. Suddenly, it came. The shattering of glass. A wave of pain. The arguing ended as the youngest of the three whimpered, his arm lowering from his face to examine the glass embedded in his arm and he could taste the blood running down his temple. His wide eyes locked with Yoochun and he whispered a no as the other took a step closer, only to freeze on the command.
"Junsu... I'm sorry! I-"
"What the hell is- SUSU-AH!" Jaejoong shrieked from the entrance to the hallway. He had taken a shower just a moment ago and his lower half was covered by his sweats, the towel on his head. He was about to charge toward his frozen lover when Changmin placed a hand on his shoulder, stopping him.
Wordlessly, Changmin moved carefully, ignoring the glass that pierced his own feet and lifted his lover into his arms, whispering sweet nothings in his ear. He felt his hyung calm before he walked back to Jaejoong, handing him to the eldest, who carried him to the bathroom. He waited a few moments before turning to land his piercing gaze on the couple, Yoochun wincing and Yunho standing firm.
"You bastards... you let yourselves get so worked up over what? A flaw in dancing practice?" he accused, watching Yunho stiffen but remain emotionless as Yoochun played with the edge of his shirt. "You should be ashamed! Because of your fight, Junsu had to get hurt... just because he happened to be there. You make me sick!" With that, he turned and left, blood marking where his feet had been.
Yunho bit his lip and turned slightly to look at his lover... who was staring at the glass on the floor, his face pale. He sighed carefully and moved his hand, placing it on Yoochun's shoulder. He watched the other jump and turn his gaze to the other, tears lightly rolling down his cheeks.
"Are we a disaster, hyung?" he asked softly... as if thinking it was their love that was the problem. Yunho thought a moment before enveloping his dongsaeng in his arms.
"All relationships have their ups and downs, Yoochun-ah. This shows that we can't be perfect..."
"But," a mumbled voice replied, "I don't want to hurt you..."
"Chunnie..." Yunho couldn't respond. His voice had failed him as he stood before his lover, just holding him. He felt the other pull away carefully and he went to the glass, picking up a large shard and proceeded, to Yunho's dismay, slice his wrist open, terror in his eyes.
"I want to die... I hurt my friends and my lover... I just-"
"CHUNNIE!" The scream left Yunho's lips quickly as he finally ran forward and grabbed the man, pulling him to the kitchen to clean his wound. "Chunnie... don't do this to me. I love you. I need you... forever."
"I'd rather die terrified... then live forever..." And with that, he broke down sobbing, realizing what he suddenly said and threw himself into Yunho's arms, shaking like a leaf as he pulled them into a kneeling position. "Hyung... I'm sorry! I didn't mean... Hyung~"
Yunho just held him, crying silently as he closed his eyes, just rocking his lover gently. Changmin entered the kitchen to watch the scene unfold, Junsu's trembling hand holding his as Jaejoong wrapped his arms around his SuSu. They watched as Yunho finally looked up, pure agony in his eyes as he stared into their faces, his eyes resting on Junsu's bandaged arm. Finally... Junsu pulled away from his lovers. Moving carefully, he knelt by both of them and wrapped his arm around Yoochun, holding him gently as well. Changmin and Jaejoong followed suit, holding onto their friends, sharing their pain... for they were Dong Bang Shi Ki. They were one. They shared everything... even their pain.
