Progress on my Google+ and LJ backups

Since Google is going to shut down Google+, I decided it was time to really make a home for my LiveJournal backup and my Google+ backup.

Working on them has been very nostalgic, even moreso for LiveJournal. I have really fond memories of my conversations with my LiveJournal friends. Love you guys so much! Always will.

Good to "see" you checking in at LJ... and taking steps to preserve your LJ and Google+ histories!

Even better to see "you" and not your Dead Man Switch kicking in... again.

Do you have a primary "online hang-out" these days, or are you living in the real world now?

Good to see you checking in at LJ again, too. No, I'm not online anywhere like we used to be at LJ and Plurk. I really liked having a place where we could share our thoughts in a long-form post that would show up in our friends' feeds. (And Plurk was just fun.) Nowadays, I sometimes post at Facebook or Twitter, but both of those places re-shuffle your feeds so you miss your friends' recent posts.
