Tearing through "Needful Things" by Stephen King. Leland Gaunt is an awesome character, and I'm enjoying the Hell out of the book.. But half of the fun seems to be pointing out all of his over-used archetypes and literary devices

Jennifer would go around completely topless if given half the chance. But if that was the only sign of conflict, I'd say we did pretty well. We need to finish painting that curtain, though. (this is Saline E)

Needful Things is freakin awesome. for real. and S. King is nothing but overused archetypes and plot/literary devices.
