scary!

So this just must be a scary baby week. First Catherine tells me about a friend that lost her baby at 37 weeks, then I talked to a friend whos baby stopped breathing 2 nights ago while they were burping him! Luckily Braden is OK, but damn would that be scary. He's only 4 weeks old! I pray that there is better news to come, but I'm waiting for 1

I totally worried about the coming in 3's thing too once Yakima Ashley's baby died. Then a friend of a friend had a miscarriage (that so counts) and Allen's cousin's baby has been diagnosed with failure to thrive (not that that's a good thing, either one really, but when that third one comes, you just feel a little relief).

Yeah, maybe Lizzy was my third bad news...I sure hope so. Failure to thrive isn't good, but I've known babies who have been diagnosed and they seem to grow out of it, it just takes lots of extra effort from the parents, which is hard with a new baby when ANYTHING is out of the ordinary. Hope Allens...er...cousin...is OK. Poor baby and poor parents, they must be worried sick!
