I'm not familiar with the artist, but yes I agree. And based on that, his stuff looks neat.

I don't think anybody besides a very select group of Belgian art-historians was familiar with the artist...

But it certainly was neat!

I really like his minimalist landscapes. You get an incredible sense of space.

The landscapes are magical, with all that swirling going on, distorting even the human figures...and that is the way the North Sea beaches look like, very sloping, so you have an endless low tide recession...
