Turning a hundred-and-fifty

My Dad just called me to give me the delightful news that he and his girlfriend are going to celebrate turning a 150 together....And with together he means both the families, his kids and grandkids, her kids and grandkids. I wish he didn't do that all the time! I like the girlfriend a lot, and she makes him happy, but I just don't particularly like ( Read more... )

Ah. We can't really control whom we like. And in-laws (or approx.) can be quite tiresome. And yes, parents... Sorry. :-(

It's good that you like your father's girlfriend. As for her kids, nothing much can be done about that, except the grin and bear it approach.

Well...I consider anyone who isn't crazy and calls people to hang up on them, ten years after my father broke up with them to be ok.
