Yup, had to do it all again. Still doing the Marvel U. because they're all so much fun to play with. :D And here are the rules again, just in case anyone cares. lol
Oh and WARNING: There be some smuttiness in here, so if you are offended by hot men making out, then skip the first one. ;)
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your mp3 player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a mini fic about each song that you play. You start when the song starts, and stop when it has played twice. No lingering afterwards! You can finish a sentence, but that's it!
4. Do ten of these, and then post them.
Learn to Crawl - Black Lab (LOL from the Spider-Man Soundtrack)
He could never be sure how it happened. He’d been out for drinks with Johnny, and then Tony showed up. The next thing he knew, they were all back at Stark Tower, in the elevator, his lips pressed hard against Johnny’s while Tony nibbled his neck. He moaned as Tony bit down a little harder, pulling out of the kiss and resting his head on the older man’s shoulder. Tony and Johnny smiled at each other, he could almost feel it. “Wanna switch?”
The next thing he heard was Tony moaning. Apparently, Johnny didn’t want to switch, but had claimed Tony’s lips as passionately as he’d claimed Peter’s earlier. The ding of the elevator reaching the penthouse brought them all out of the haze that had followed them up.
“Moment of truth.” Johnny smiled again as Tony turned Peter around. The blonde’s hand snaked around Peter’s hip, reaching for his belt. Hazel eyes blinked lazily as Tony dropped to his knees, helping Johnny rid Peter of his jeans. Tony’s tongue ran over his erection as Johnny’s fingers played across his ass. A low chuckle escaped the blonde. “Spider in the middle.”
The warmth of Tony’s mouth moved away from him, and Peter whimpered before another low chuckle echoed through the room. “At least for the first round.”
Do You Believe by Joydrop
I was in hell, for what, I couldn’t say. But I was sure of it. I was dead, and though I had never believed in hell, or heaven, I was there, being punished for things I couldn’t conceive of. Or so I thought.
Perhaps the guards or the technology around me should have been a clue. After all, why would there be guards with guns in hell? I hadn’t been thinking clearly enough to figure that out.
Then I saw it. The final thing to convince me that I was not in some mythical prison. I saw her. There are no angels in hell. I knew that much, so I couldn’t have seen her if that was where I was.
I had gotten my revenge on those men with guns, their bullets bouncing off of me with little more than a ping to show for it, and passing straight through her. But she didn’t move. She didn’t speak. She looked like she might faint. When I was done with the guards, I went to her. I had to hold her. If I could do that then it was real, she was real. I had to believe she was.
I fell to my knees, wrapping her in my arms. I’d paid enough for my sins it seemed, and an angel was there to save me. A tear slipped from her eye. “Katya…” She trembled in my arms. I was saved.
Better Than Me by Hinder
She was gone. Really, truly gone this time. Not like every other time she’d stormed out the door, swearing she’d never come back. This time… well, he’d wondered why she hadn’t left earlier. How could she stay? Why would she want to? The same questions he always asked himself when she left.
This time there hadn’t been any of the theatrics, none of the screaming or throwing things. He was thankful for that much. He’d gotten very good over the years at dodging vases and picture frames. There’s been that Volkswagen that one time too. She’d just let herself in and sat on the bed, speaking softly about how it wasn’t working. How she had too much to figure out for herself to even being to give him anything close to a real relationship. He’d tried to argue the point, but he knew she was right. Deep down, he knew. “Rogue…”
“No Remy.” She’d stood and moved toward the door. “You deserve more. You deserve better.” Then she was gone. Really truly gone.
Take My Breath Away by Berlin
Why had she agreed to come back? She sighed and leaned against the kitchen counter, waiting for the coffee perk to do its thing. She had a husband… granted they weren’t on the best of terms at the moment, but still. And he… she sighed again, letting her head fall back. Staring at the ceiling seemed the safest bet, just in case he and his girlfriend… no, his wife came out of their room. Damn it.
She moved away from the counter and slumped into one of the chairs. “Hey Crys.” Her head snapped up. “Coffee ready?”
“Not yet.” She spun her mug in her hand. “You’re up early.”
“Yeah, I got up with Alicia.” Of course. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. “Couldn’t get back to sleep and she has a show or something to prepare for.”
“Ah.”
He sat across from her and stared at her for a minute. “You okay?” He moved to the chair next to her. “You look kinda pale.” She just nodded, not trusting her voice as he touched her arm. “Maybe you should get some more sleep, Crys.”
“Yeah.” She stood and moved quickly from the room. When she got to her bed room she collapsed against the door as it closed. That one little touch was enough to leave her breathless.

“I can’t do this anymore.”
That made him look up from the computer screen. “Do what?”
She exhaled loudly, sounded seriously exasperated. Had she been talking? Had he been ignoring her? Oops. “You just don’t get it, do you?”
“Get what?” His brow crinkled. This wasn’t the first fight they’d had that day, which was saying a lot about the state of things lately. Sure, Susan didn’t agree with his stance about the Registration Act, and she wasn’t sleeping much so she was irritable. If he’d been unintentionally ignoring her on top of all that… no wonder she was angry.
She opened her mouth to argue, at least that’s what it looked like. She must have thought better of it… or that it was useless to have the same fight again. She closed her mouth and shook her head. He heard the door to the lab open. “I’m going to see Johnny.”
“How’s he doing?” There wasn’t much feeling in his voice, but when had there ever been?
“If you bothered to come to the hospital once in awhile, you’d know.” Her voice had plenty of feeling in it. Anger, frustration, bitterness.
“I’m very busy, Sue.” He waited for her to lecture him again on his responsibilities to his family, but the words didn’t come. The only sound he heard was the lab door smashing as she slammed it.

He was sure that there was no way the day could get any worse. His alarm hadn’t gone off, and he was late for his first meeting of the day. He’d spilled coffee on his tie. He’d gotten axle grease on his pants when he went down to inspect the progress on the new suit. Hill had been phoning him non stop for hours about staffing problems. It was not a good day to be Tony Stark.
And then all the problems of the Avengers began to fall into his lap. No one wanted to put in any time with the Young Avengers. Wolverine was a no show, as per usual. And where the hell had Carol been for that meeting? He hadn’t seen her all day. She’d been gone by the time he woke up. He grumbled quietly to himself as he approached his office. “Any messages?”
“Maria Hill called again.”
“If she keeps calling, tell her I’m dead and she doesn’t get my job.” He reached for the door handle.
“And your 3 o’clock is waiting for you.” 3 o’clock? Had he forgotten a meeting. Damn it! His grumbling got a little louder as he threw the door open, letting it slam behind him as he moved into the room.
It seemed empty. His brow furrowed a little. “Hello, Tony.” He turned around and his jaw dropped. “Having a rough day?”
Carol was leaning against the heavy wooden door, completely naked. He took a few steps closer to her and reached behind her to lock the door. “It’s starting to look up.”
Knocking On Heavens Door by Guns ‘n’ Roses
He should have cared. He should have felt something for those he was leaving behind. He knew, even as the world blurred and faded that his death would be important. A symbol, just as he had been in life. He also knew that someone, someone important would carry more guilt then he deserved about all this.
It had been a difference of opinion. Nothing more, but it had turned into something neither of them had any control over. As the blur thickened, he wondered if Tony would know that it wasn’t personal. That even through all the fighting, and the horrible things they both did, he was still, and always would be his friend. That hadn’t changed.
The blur disappeared. Nothing hurt anymore and a sense of peace washed over him. He wondered if heroes got into heaven. He figured he’d know soon enough. Steve almost smiled, or he would have if he’d had the energy. In that moment, he knew… he knew that Tony knew, and all those chances he hadn’t taken to tell the other man how he felt weren’t a waste. Somehow he knew he still had Tony’s friendship.
Last Exit to Eden by Amanda Marshall
The couch felt harder than it normally did and he kept shifting, trying to get comfortable. Nothing worked. He got up and started pacing until Ben spoke. “Jeeze, Johnny sit down. You’re makin’ me nervous.” He grunted something and wandered into the kitchen. Why would she want to stay here? How long would this journey of self discovery of hers take? He ran a hand through his hair. Why had he kissed her?
He groaned a little. If he hadn’t kissed her, maybe this wouldn’t be so hard. But as it was, he wanted her to come back. He wanted her to let him make it all up to her. He knew that right that moment wasn’t the best time to do that of course. He had no doubt that the Skrull Empire would not be pleased with her when they got back home, but he could protect her, he wanted to protect her.
He missed her. He hadn’t realized how much until her lips were pressed against his. If it hadn’t been for that electrified squid thing trying to kill her, he wouldn’t have stopped at her lips. He wanted her again, wrapped around him, moaning his name. He missed waking up next to her.
But she said she’d be back when she’d figured everything out. He hoped it wouldn’t take long. He stared out the window into the blackness of the Negative Zone. “Come home soon, Lyja.”
Just a Girl by No Doubt
She rolled her eyes… again. “You okay, Jeanie?”
“Yes Logan. Surprisingly enough, this isn’t my first fight.” Before he could say something back, she deflected a rather large piece of scaffolding that was flying toward them.
“Ya sure, darlin’?”
Oh for gods sake. “Yes, Logan.” She was tempted to float him away from her, like she’d subtly done with Scott earlier in the fight. She’d been an X-Man longer than Logan, and nearly as long as Scott, but they insisted on treating her like she was made of glass. Well, at least they weren’t calling her Marvel Girl anymore. That was one moniker that needed retiring around the same time she got rid of her training bra.
She heard the crumbling noise before the other and called out a warning. They began the mass exodus of the warehouse and the roof began to cave. She held it up, a look of concentration on her face. That, and a little bit of bitterness. She could save their lives time and time again, but she was still the fragile little flower. Yup, that’s right boys, let the pretty little girl save your asses again.
Leave Me Alone by Natalie Imbruglia
Felicia let her nails hit the table in sharp staccato taps. Forty five minutes late, and counting. She was used to him being late. Probably heard a siren on the way and had to help out. She’d loved that about him, really, but sometimes… she sighed and stirred another packet of sugar into her third cup of coffee. She was starting to get jittery and she wasn’t sure if it was the caffeine, the sugar or just the slow build up of anger.
Another fifteen minutes passed before he hurried through the door of the café. “Felicia, I am so sorry… something came up and…”
“Its okay, Petey. Something is always coming up. I’m used to it.” She sipped her coffee, but he couldn’t ignore the anger in her voice.
“I’m really sorry. There was this bank robbery…”
“You know what, Peter.” She sighed. “I’m not really in the mood for company right now.”
“What?” His brow crinkled.
“Yeah. So, why don’t you go get your own table.” She sipped the steaming cup of coffee again.
“What?”
“Leave me alone, Peter.” She frowned. “At least for the next fifteen minutes.”
