Everyone likes praise - nothing wrong with that. I just got burnt out on cross-posting everywhere. meh.

Honestly, I'm not sure it's even the praise aspect anymore. When I can get 300 reads on something in a month and get 17 in six months if I'm lucky somewhere else... *shrug* Maybe it's my fault for no promoting EFFN but if I only posted there and on my LJ, nobody would read anything (let alone comment). Maybe that will change in time (I hope) but right now I feel like if I want anyone to actually give anything I do a second glance, I have to post, burn out or not.

I guess it stems from the "write for yourself" idea... whatever, I'm not going to stop posting because of it so there is nothing to worry about. lol
