actually, i've gotten that in the past too. that's how i found out of audrey kawasaki. but never heard of stella im hultberg(i don't know much artists)
yeah, i'm trying to stay away from it.. but i've always had that kind of "style" i have with my characters.. (i used to draw manga and make my own one-shots, which i took a vaca from)
I'm guessing it's the "halfed body parts", the right one, her bottom part was suppose to be a strawberry(which i wasn't finished with, just an idea). :O as for the left, i was just lazy to finish her hair and legs, so i left it at that.
I'm still trying to find my own style, and constant pattern i want to keep. D: Thanks for your crit though! I appreciate it.
I don´t find your style is so similar to those two artists. Despite I like those two artist I find their style too(!) similar to magakas, which is not bad either.
happens often people make things based in the same references, and that´s not bad either, no?:)
But defenitely your paintings have something very personal.
I was just mesmerized by that girl on the left..you know we're moving right? And my mom said she wanted paintings in the house to make it like a warm cosy environment in our living room.
Would you mind if I paint that girl for our living room? @.@

Your sketches are looking WAY too
stella im hultberg
and
audrey kawasaki
You should shy away from that. Work on developing your own style that isn't based on theirs.
