I'm happy for you! LOL! I grew up in Calif where it never snowed...and I mean NEVER. Not in 20 years did it ever snow once. It hailed, but not snowed. Now, I live in a state where it snows ALL the time!!! It still gives me a thrill to watch big fat snowflakes fall through the air. It is beautiful, and kind of miraculous that nature can create such an anomaly. Today its not snowing. It did all last week. So, I can appreciate how much you're enjoying that. Have fun and Merry Christmas to you! Hugs, dear!! :) <33333
It's all melted now, but it snowed for close to two hours. Our office Christmas lunch was today, and it was nice to eat and be able to watch the snow outside.
It usually only snows every few years here, but it snowed in February and then again today. I love snow. It happens so rarely that it's still a novelty, and it's never bad enough to be a problem.
So, like, you KNOW where I live, right? And it has not snowed here, yet. Vermont and New Hampshire are under feet of snow; it snowed in freaking New York City last week (it didn't last and it was flurries that melted as soon as they hit the ground but it snowed!) and it has not here, yet.
They're thinking it might by the end of the week. Except for the part where it's actually going to warm up by the end of the week, so we might get rain, instead.
I'm feeling very cheated of my first snow experience. Apparently, the last snowstorm we had was mid-February. Boo.
It's completely gone. Not even a trace that it snowed yesterday. :( It's usually not this cold this early. It was 21F this morning, and I nearly froze on my way to work. It's not supposed to be that cold HERE.
It hadn't snowed here since February either. At least you'll have snow; that's probably all we'll get this winter.
