Car Update

Oct 16, 2006 13:10

Oil Change: 20 bucks.

I don't think we paid for the extra three quarts of transmission fluid they somehow got in there.

Transmission: TOAST.

Cost to get new one: over $1300.00

Valvoline: Really screwed.

Me: Pretty pissed off

Lawyer: Contacted

Insurance: Contacted

Just waiting now...

a car MUST be running while tranmisson fluid is added. Any hack of a mechanic knows this.

I don't think it should/will cost you a dime.

Fucktards.

I'm so pissed. Soooo pissed.

What would you do if it were you? Do I report them to the BBB or just wait to see how it's handled?

I think a single phone call from the Lawyer, and a what? 30 dollar bill?....will be all it should cost you.

BBB is not worth the time. They sooo frikin suck.

Jeebus on a Triscuit! This is bad stuff, homey.

Seemingly enough, I have a workmate who had similar problems with another predominant oil-change place... *cough*JiffyLube*cough* Except their involved breakfluid in the engine-oil.. yipes.

I'd say give it a bit to see what lawyers/insurance say, as well as the reaction you get from the oilchange place... If they act like dicks, call the BBB. Or hell.. call the BBB anyways. ha ha ha. At least, AFTER all's said and done. (c:
