Feel free to snag, but I'm just playing around with Photoshop (this isn't really a tutorial :P).

it amuses me that some people still use that tutorial. lolz. it's a little outdated. but I suppose you have to start somewhere. =p these are pretty good. you should experiment more on just coloring and mess with layers later. ;)

Yeah well, I read that tutorial ages ago and just decided to use selective coloring now :P

I'm not sure where to begin commenting (sorry I'm so far behind!), but I'll start here. I've been so busy that I've completely lost track of comments and posts, so forgive me if I miss anything!

Anyhow, I love this colouring effect - wow! Regarding the Hugh icons, I'd have to say that the colour, pinlight and softlight are my favourites. But it just looks stunning!

And I definitely agree with you about color and softlight (which I ended up using ultimately). Pinlight actually doesn't do anything :P
