i feel your pain in dealing with annoying college administration. i swear, ucsb is run by idiots.

Every college is like that. It is very difficult juggling hundreds of classes with constantly shifting thousands of students and multiple offices and teachers. And it was much worse before the advent of common computers. I well remember standing in line for hours to be told to go stand in a different line for hours. None of your difficulties are personally aimed at you.
