That was very skillfully done. I had never thought about Julia's lack of sight being an advantage to Conrad. It's nice to have something like that pointed out. I loved the "willfully blond" bit too.

I'm not actually sure how people in Shin Makoku tell the difference between humans and mazoku, but they always seem to know on sight, so I just went with it.

accdg to the novel (I only ever had time to read the first one -- haha. How come I have the time for fan fic? anyway...) Mazoku are just inordinately beautiful. Cnrart is actually described as plain. :)
